CURRENCY - COINS
There are coins of 1 peso and of 5, 10, 25, 50 cents circulating in silver plated and golden version, 1 cent coin have been withdrawn from circulation. |

In 1994, were emitted two-peso and five-peso coins, in commemoration of the National Constitutional Convention, in 1999 some two-peso coins were emitted to commemorate the centennial of the birth of the greatest Jorge Luis Borges, also, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the death of Eva Perón, on September 2002 a new two-peso coin with her face was created. None of the two-peso coins and five-peso coins are currently in wide circulation.
